Sabah State Minister for Youth and Sports, Datuk Masidi Manjun, is acting Minister for Tourism, Culture and Environment. He is taking over part of Tan Sri Chong Kah Kiat's portfolio.

Datuk Masidi may be a very capable man, but I'm worried that he will be very stretched to really do all his duties well. It is understand that Datuk Masidi is involved in state education affairs, youth and sporting events, now the added responsibilities of looking after tourism industry, culural matters and environment problems.

Each and every one of Datuk Masidi's duties requires great amount of interactions with the public. All of these areas are events-rich, like meet the parents, students and department officials dialogues just for education area alone.
Then for tourism aspect, you have the never ending promotion events which require him to flag off or officiate.
How about cultural shows and performance? If Datuk attend some and is absent from some, it will surely create missgivings among the various communities.
Floods and landslides need the attention of the Environment Minister, can he ignore them?
He also have to attend the many youth activities and sports events, unless he wants to appear unconcerned. And don't forget the internal fighting of many sports associations which need his attention.

Wah, Datuk Masidi got to be a super superman lor. Otherwise he has to think really hard which areas he elect to neglect.
